EARTH FILLING WORKS AT NATIONAL HOLIDAY RESORT - PASSIKUDHA
The Chairman, Procurement Committee, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Earth Filling Works at National Holiday Resort – Passikudha as described below. The total volume of earth filling is around 12000 cubes & will be awarded for many interested parties with the selected minimum rate in order to complete the filling of all 12000 cubes within a period of Two (02) months.
The Work will be paid unit price basis & unit rate is to be decided on compacted volume basis and work is deemed to include: all relevant preliminaries together with obtain approvals & tests required for quality control, preparation of areas upon which materials are to be placed, loading, unloading, transporting, spreading suitably levelling, watering & compacting to complete.
To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall have ICTAD grade C7 & above and shall have experienced in similar nature jobs.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from Director/ Tourism Planning and Development, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, No 80, Galle Road, Colombo 03 on 0112 382622 or 0112 437062 and inspect the Bidding Document at the address given above from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs until 17th August 2012.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Chairman, Procurement Committee, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, No 80, Galle Road, Colombo 03 from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs until 17th August 2012, upon payment of a non refundable fee of Rs. 2,000.00. The method of payment will be by cash.
Bids in duplicate under sealed envelope marked "Earth Filling Works at National Holiday Resort – Passikudha" at the left hand corner, shall be delivered by hand and placed in the tender box at Human Resources and Premises Management Division, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, No 80, Galle Road, Colombo 03 on or before 1400 hrs on 20th August 2012. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders and bidder's representatives.
