The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority is committed to ensuring that all its investors are ably assisted, effectively and efficiently. The SLTDA provides business support to all related parties during the setting up of their tourism related activities. Ensuring that procedures are easily understood and providing adequate assistance are vital to the SLTDA and its staff, and to the success of Sri Lanka tourism.

The SLTDA provides management support to all tourism establishments. Providing optimum services to tourists are considered imperative and hence we ensure tourism related services are provided to optimum standards.

The Sri Lankan government is keen to see the Tourism industry grow. Tax benefits and concessions are in place to attract investors and immigration and tourism development levies are charged to assist the industry and its growth.

Annually the Sri Lanka Tourism Industry through the Presidential Awards rewards contributions made to the tourism industry by persons and institutions.
